What excites you most about your role?
Each customer is unique in some ways; I think what interest me the most is meeting with our customers and trying to understand what they are trying to achieve, maybe challenge their ideas a bit, and then come up with a solution.
What's your go-to tech?
Terraform. I use it in nearly all my projects—it’s powerful, scalable, and ensures consistency in cloud infrastructure.
What is Terraform in it's simple terms?
Terraform turns cloud infrastructure into code. Instead of manually configuring environments, you write it all in code, ensuring consistency and streamlining governance, infrastructure and security. It's like laying a strong foundation for your cloud platform.
Can you share a use case where it makes an impact?
Starting with a single Azure subscription when migrating to the cloud can lead to management headaches in networking, security, and access control. Spending time up front to design a robust, scalable platform is essential, and Terraform is a powerful tool for achieving that.
Your best advice for navigating the cloud?
Build a robust, flexible, and scalable platform. The cloud evolves daily, so a strong foundation is key to staying ahead.
