Risto is a Cloud Architect at Redeploy, focusing on Azure and DevOps


Risto was interested in hardware and electronics from a young age, beginning his career as an Electronics Technician, troubleshooting and servicing PSU, motherboards, radio stations, RF devices, etc. After this, he decided to transition into the ever-growing software world and worked as a support representative within live streaming.
His curiosity and hunger to work with more modern technology then led him to join a streaming company, where he transitioned from a support role to Site Reliability Engineer. Risto's main responsibilities were monitoring production and development environments, driving SLA/SLI/SLO projects, Azure management and working with Azure DevOps, AKS, IaC etc.


Main techs: K8s, Azure Devops, Terraform, IaC, Monitoring, Prometheus/Grafana

Risto loves FOOOOOD, especially BBQ
He doesn't like spinach (but he does like Popeye, interesting)
And a few years ago, he obtained a private pilots license
