Cloud Developer – Cloud Platform

Dean Asonitis is a Cloud Developer, specializing in Azure and DevOps tooling.

Dean began his career with a traineeship in Sydney at just 17, advancing from a level 1 helpdesk engineer to an Infrastructure Engineer. In 2018, he transitioned to Platform Engineering, focusing on Azure, building tooling for developers, automation tasks, and Hub and Spoke projects.

Dean's journey has taken him from Australia to the UK and now to Sweden. Drawn by Redeploy's friendly and passionate atmosphere, he joined to challenge himself working with multiple clients.

Main techs: Azure, Terraform/Bicep, PowerShell/Python, AKS, and Octopus/Azure DevOps/GitHub

  • Dean loves sports, including rugby, football, golf, boxing, cricket, and Formula 1.
  • Dean despises... nothing! How incredible is that?
  • At 23, he boldly left Australia for London, knowing no one, and now he's pulled off the same daring move from London to Sweden. He's thrilled to have found a new family of Redeployees and can't wait to compare his adventures from his younger days with his exciting new chapter in Sweden.
